About AccuStat
AccuStat was started in 1997 in Albuquerque, New Mexico, as a full-service transcription company.
In those days, transcription was taken exclusively from tape recorders. Over the past five years, AccuStat has aggressively invested in technology upgrades, creating a state-of-the-art transcription service that uses the latest digital and wave technology.
Our technology gives healthcare professionals a user-friendly, cost-effective way to connect with well-trained medical transcriptionists anywhere in the United States, to produce accurate electronic and paper documents from dictation.
The costs of in-house transcription staff can be expensive when one factors in the expenses of downtime and other benefits; so many medical institutions have looked for alternatives.
AccuStat has seen many doctors and medical institutions return to our service, after trying to outsource their transcription to foreign companies, only to discover that the transcription was so poorly done that it wasn't worth the perceived savings.
AccuStat also offers several advantages over voice recognition systems. In particular, our clients have no up-front capital investment in expensive hardware or software. While costs may appear to be lower using voice recognition systems, we encourage you to consider the cost of editing necessary for accuracy and the frustration these systems present to doctors.
AccuStat has innovatively connected the personal touch with the latest technology. Through the internet and advanced digital technology, we connect the doctors who use our service with the best transcriptionists in the United States.
